HOWTO: Opening Port 4242 (Windows XP-sp2Firewall)

Networking, Hosting, Ports, Firewall This walkthrough was created to help network stability issues for users running Windows XP sp2 with the Windows Firewall enabled. This should be done if you are having availability issues when running the Nodezilla Network Agent.

Begin by clicking Start/Run and typing “netsh”.

If the prompt simply says “netsh” type "firewall", then type (replace 4242 by the port specified in your NodezillaIni file): add portopening TCP 4242 Nodezilla Hit enter.
